So far I have visited Amsterdam, Berlin, Majorca, Rome, and Dublin. I have lots more trips planned ahead and I am so so grateful to be able to travel the world for a semester!! The locals of Barcelona are some of the nicest people I have ever met. You would think they would get tired of all the American study abroad students and tourists, but they are nothing but friendly and I have actually been lucky enough to get to know a good amount of them. Grace White Location: F lorence, Italy Major: Communications Hometown: Leonardtown, MD Favorit es:  My favorite things include going out with friends at happy hour and theta socials, along with working out eating out What you've been doing abroad:  While abroad I’ve been traveling almost every weekend to a different country and visiting friends in new places all over. It has been so amazing trying all the new foods, being on a completely all carb diet (not joking) and experiencing Italian culture. Favorite thing about theta: RAVYS GOODS!!!

Kate Meyers Location: Rome, Italy Major: Finance and Marketing Hometown: Baltimore, MD Favorites:  Skiing, hiking, tennis, any outdoor activities really, and eating What you've been doing abroad:  So far, I have absolutely LOVED Rome. Italian culture is very different from American culture, but it is extremely refreshing to experience. Some of my favorite things to do in Rome are having lunch on the Spanish Steps, visiting the Trevi fountain at night, and seeing the view from the wedding cake monument at sunset. I have also had the amazing opportunity to travel around Europe and visit countries such as Switzerland, Hungary, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Czech Republic and many cities in Italy. With each new place I gained first hand knowledge about each place’s culture. One of my favorite things to do in each new place is to ask the locals which restaurants and food dishes are their favorites. So far, none have disappointed! Probably my two ...

Ketti Gorski Location: Wellington, New Zealand Major: Economics Hometown: A nnapolis, MD Favorites:  Boating, Traveling, Running, and stuffing my face with Insomnia with Abby C. What you've been doing abroad:  I’m based in Wellington aka Windy Welly, which is the capital of New Zealand. The food here is amazing and there are ton of great venues for live music and festivals. During the weekends I’ve been road tripping to beaches and hiking across the North Island with other international students from across the world. I’ll be here until the first week of July and I don’t want to leave because I think I’m peaking. Favorite thing about theta:  It’s cheesy to say, but my favorite thing about Theta is definitely my family. Shout out to Skelly, Abby, Gretchen, Devon, and our newest additions Maddie and Sara.

Me gusta la playa <3 and some traveling too Favorite thing about theta: I love Theta because it's how I got the change to meet so many cool people!! Eevryone that I talked to at Theta during recruitment were all people that I know I would want to be friends with so it was an easy decision for me :) My pledge class is huge but I love that I'm friends with every one of the girls. Last semester I lived with 6 other Thetas at corner and this semester I have been living with two other Thetas here in Spain and it's been so fun!!!
