What you've been doing abroad: I have been thoroughly enjoying my time here in Spain as I make a ton of new friends, practice my Spanish, and eat a concerning amount of tapas. So far I have visited Amsterdam, Berlin, Majorca, Rome, and Dublin. I have lots more trips planned ahead and I am so so grateful to be able to travel the world for a semester!! The locals of Barcelona are some of the nicest people I have ever met. You would think they would get tired of all the American study abroad students and tourists, but they are nothing but friendly and I have actually been lucky enough to get to know a good amount of them. This city has literally anything you could ever want: beaches, mountains, cities, the countryside, an amazing nightlife, dangerously good shopping, and most importantly, EVERYONE HAS A DOG so it is heaven to me. Also everything is soooo cheap, a 24 pack of eggs isn't even two euros. I highly recommend anyone that can to try and study abroad here!!! And if you do, you should expect a visit from me.
Favorite thing about Theta: My favorite part about Theta would have to be how weird everyone is, and I mean that in the best way possible. We don't care about being normal or try to be something we're not. The best nights I can remember of college are the ones when we would just goof around until 3 in the morning in the Theta house kitchen. I miss all my Theta gals sooooooo so much and although I love my time here in Europe, I am counting down the days until I can be back with you all again.
